MR AMBROSE MATIKA
Board Chair
With 33 years experience at CABS and Old Mutual, as Managing Director of Old Mutual Shared Services, Old Mutual companies in Zimbabwe from 2009 to 2012. His expertise spans Finance, IT, Risk Management and General Management.
PROF. MAKUNIKE MUTASA
Vice Board Chair
Professor of Pathology at the University Of Zimbabwe College Of Health Sciences. An internationally certified pathologist, founding fellow of regional pathology colleges, and secretary general of the Zimbabwe Association of Pathologists.
MR GINFORD DZIMATI
Board Member
Mr. Dzimati, a lifelong United Methodist, has served the Church for over 55 years along with his wife Varsity. He has held many roles including District Layleader of Harare Central from 2005 to 2009 and currently chairs the UMHT Finance Committee.
MR DUMISANI NGWENYA
Board Member
A holder of MBA and RTAcc(Z) with 36 years of tax experience in administration and consulting. Currently, consultancy services in taxation and transfer pricing. UMHT Business Development Committee Chair, member of the UMHT Board and Finance.
MRS MILDRED CHIRI
Board Member
Mrs Mildred Chiri was appointed to the Board in September 2023. She has over 35 years’ experience in the public sector. Former Zimbabwe Auditor Genera with vast experience. A holder of an MBA, a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA) and Fellow of Chartered Governance and Accountancy Institute (FCGI).

Dr Chingwena
Principal Officer
Dr Chingwena joined the organisation in 2005. He is the principal officer and also doubles as our lead dentist. Dr Chingwena earned his primary qualification of Bachelor in dental Surgery in 2004 from UZ. He aso holds an MBA (UK), MPH (AU) an Post graduate Diplomas in pedodontics and Orthodontics.
Agness Manjoro
Admin and Business Development Officer
Agnes Manjoro, a seasoned professional administrator who can streamline processes, enhance organisational performance and optimize resource allocation. An assertive individual who is keen to build and maintain strategic partnerships to drive growth, innovation and competitiveness. Agnes joined the Umht in January 2022. She holds a Project management diploma from Certified Commerce and Industry Personnel, Banking diploma from IOBZ and is completing a degree in Development Practice with Midlands State University.
Rutendo
Accountant
A dedicated Accounting graduate from the University of Zimbabwe (2017), began her tenure at UMHT in 2022. With experience garnered from roles in the Banking sector and a Transport and logistics company, she has developed a strong foundation in accounting. She is furthering her accounting education by pursuing a CIMA qualification, aiming to enhance her skills and knowledge in the field. Now, she applies her dedicated expertise to drive excellence and efficiency at UMHT.
